Today I wanted to share with you some photos from Jimbaran in Bali. The Intercontinental Bali resort is situated right in the heart of the town, located right on the beach where you get all the benefits of the beautiful sea view and water sports available to you all day long. In the evening right around the corner you can find a stretch of local restaurants and cafe’s offering fresh fish and meat dishes. Table and chairs are set right in the sand with waves lapping at your feet as you watch the sunset while enjoying your dinner (be sure you wear flipflops as the water might come up and tickle your toes).
Jimbaran has not yet been overtaken by tourists so you get the chance to experience raw Balinese culture just by leaving your hotel. Be aware that locals don’t really walk, they mostly use motorbikes, so you will need to watch you step as the pavement is quite uneven. And try not to step on any of their beautiful flower offerings lying outside every shop and home.
