Today I wanted to tell you about our stay in Nandini jungle resort &spa which was the second hotel we stayed in while visiting Bali. Set deep within the jungle this hotel is a perfect destination for a romantic getaway, honeymooners or someone seeking tranquility and calm. As soon as we walked into our villa and saw the stunning jungle view from our balcony I felt like I was in paradise. Waking up every morning to the most stunning sunrise and listening to the birds and other exotic wildlife then having delicious fresh breakfast and going for a swim in the pool overlooking the jungle, I couldn’t think of a better way to finish our Bali adventure.
Nandini hotel offers a lot of free activities: sunrise yoga (an amazing way to start your day), cooking classes, guided walks around the nearest village (we got to see what locals do first thing in the morning and how they live) and even a lesson on how to make the Balinese offerings (which was much harder than it looked). The icings on the cake for me was the cute little cable car that transfers you from one level of the hotel to the next. Who needs the stairs when you can sit back and enjoy the ride through the jungle.
Nandini hotel even has a free shuttle bus to Ubud. Ubud is a vibrant and busy place so I recommend you go for a whole day as there is a lot to see: big markets, lots of cafes where you can try out a smoothie bowl and of course the famous monkey forest. At first, I was quite hesitant to go into a monkey forest after hearing some horror stories but I quickly learned that as long as you follow the rules they won’t touch you.
We stayed in Nandini resort & spa for 4 days and truly didn’t want to leave.
