Aspinal of London

Posted 3rd November 2017

If you follow me on Instagram then you would have seen that at the weekend I went to London to meet up with my lovely friend for afternoon tea at Brigit’s Bakery (which was divine and I highly recommend it) and to do a little shopping. I was strolling through Bond street minding my own business when I saw Aspinal of London and of course, my legs just couldn’t help but go in. I had this Mayfair bag on my wishlist for a very long time and as I was lovingly admiring it the shop assistant announced that they have 15% off on all items. Well, of course, I took it as a sign to go for it. For a long time, I couldn’t pick between two different colours. My head was telling me to go for a white and blue version that would go with a lot of my clothes but my heart was set on this beautiful red colour. I decided to go with my heart and I don’t regret it a tiny bit. Every time I look at this bag it just makes me so happy and it also turns out that red goes with a lot of things that I own including my car.

This tweed dress with pleated hem is another purchase from Zara and is perfect for the English Autumn when it’s still not cold enough to wear a coat.  I also think it’s a very timeless item that will not go out of style.
