A couple of weeks ago I finally visited Bicester village for the first time. For those of you who don’t know what it is, it’s a designer outlet shopping village that has more than 160 boutiques. It is simply a must go for fashion lovers.
If you follow me on Instagram you would know that I didn’t leave the village empty-handed but everything we bought (hubby and me) was put away for my birthday and Christmas and now both of those are out of the way I can finally show you what I got.
First, let’s talk about my new beige Prada bag. This was a very unexpected gift from my amazing husband. We saw it in the shop and I loved it straight away but I fell in love with it even more, when I saw that it had a huge £500 discount! I love Prada bags and shoes (my black galleria bag was featured on this blog a few times) and I just couldn’t believe there was a place where you can buy them with such a discount. Seeing my excitement Gary offered to buy it for me as a birthday present and I was so overwhelmed I squealed 🙂
The second item I bought is quite a big deal for me. A Burberry trench coat was always an ‘it’ item for me: it’s so timeless, classy and versatile and will never go out of style. I have been saving for it for a while and still had a way to go when I heard someone mention that Bicester village has a Burberry shop and most of the trenches cost around £600. That was it! I couldn’t get in the car fast enough. I was slightly worried as sometimes outlet shops only store really odd designs, colors, and sizes but I was not disappointed. Burberry shop had plenty of trench coats, bags, scarfs and knitwear and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for, a classic Burberry trench with a little twist.
Overall our visit to Bicester village was a success. Of course, the items on sale are still pricey but it is a designer outlet and if you are already on the market for a specific item I would suggest you go there first and see if you can avoid paying the full price 🙂
