I have loved pearl accessories as long as I can remember. My college friends can tell you that I always had around 10 ‘pearl’ bracelets on my wrists and often wore a huge pearl necklace around my neck with a black dress (I was clearly channeling Audrey Hepburn). So when pearl clothes became available in our high street shops I was jumping for joy. I own my fair share of pearl tops and even a pair of jeans, the only thing I was missing was the coat. January can be a very gloomy month and what a great way to bring a little excitement to your wardrobe than with this beautiful statement coat.
