Perfect Spring Dress

Posted 30th March 2018

Living in the UK and trying to be a fashion blogger can be very challenging – it has been raining for the past few days and it will carry on raining for the next weeks, which makes it difficult to take the photos which are vital for this blog. However, this morning we were lucky, it wasn’t raining and the sun was trying to make its way through the clouds. This was our chance, so hubby (a.k.a my amazing photographer) and I got dressed, grabbed a camera and rushed out to take photos of this beautiful dress.

I saw Rosie from TheLondoner wear it in her latest blog post and ordered it almost immediately. With age, I have developed my own taste and style and now I can spot something that will suit me straight away. When I first tried this dress on I didn’t want to take it off. You know when someone says “This is so you” well, this dress is so me.

I think I would be very happy to wear only dresses for the rest of my life.  If you find a dress style that suits you, they can be so flattering and forgiving. As you can see my favourite is skater midi dresses. They are so easy to wear and I never have to worry about muffin tops or my tummy poking out after a large meal (which is every meal for me 😉

This dress is made out of thick material which means it’s perfect for the transitional season and traveling because it won’t wrinkle in your suitcase.

I recently started watching Mad Men and I am absolutely in love with all the dresses they wear. It inspires me as they all look so classy, elegant and beautiful on that show. In times when a lot of people dress the same, it makes me want to follow the beat of my own fashion drum. Don’t be surprised if you will see me sporting a pair of cute lace gloves next time 😉
